Skat Katz has been appointed PhotoFrost icing sheets Australian distributor.
The icing sheets are not rice paper, potato paper, fondant or anything like that. They DON'T have a strange texture or taste. They are NOT hard to cut through. They DON'T add an extra layer or "skin" to your cake.
They really are frosting, specially blended and pressed ultra-thin onto a backing page to pass easily through a stardard Canon printer. Your images print out sharp & clear, just like a photo.
The shelf life is great (you don't need to refrigerate them) just keep them in their recloseable zip lock bag. They're easy to apply (simple directions are included). Use our edible inks and our printer system to print photos, text or designs directly onto the sheets.
Photo-decorate cakes, biscuits, cupcakes and chocolates. The edible inks we sell, are for the Canon IP 3600. We recommend that you use the printer for edible inks and do not exchange cartridges. |
Our electronic cutters come with software which allow you to cut text or designs. Design the image or word you want to cut, then send to the cutter. Our Skat Katz cutters have been used to cut cardstock and vinyl, however with the development of the icing sheets the possibilities are endless.

You can use our cutters with any one of our Ivory, White, Black or Chocolate A4 sheets. The included software allows you to use your fonts that you have on your computer. You may also load an image or design into the software which will convert these images into cuttable designs. |

While the ability to print on preformatted circles or squares has been around for some time, the use of an electronic cutter literally brings another dimension to cake decorating. The Print and Cut process allows you to print your image on an icing sheet along with 3 registration marks. Our electronic cutters will then read the registration marks and use them as a reference for the cutter to cut around the images. |

The Silhouette SD and KNK MAXX are recommended for cutting icing sheets, because they have the Print and Cut ability. The Silhouette SD is an A4 cutter, whereas the KNK MAXX can cut up to 380 mm in width and a cutting length of metres. |
